Oddcoupl.jpg Artist/source and date unknown. Came to me via email from a friend who found it on the internet. If anyone knows the source, the artist, I'd love to talk with him. As my friend says, it speaks volumes. There is no watermark, no paths, no signature, no file information. |

This .jpg looks like it has suffered color loss from frequent resaves. A significant problem with this file format. |

These are sketches done by 3 young men at happy hour at the Blue Moon Cafe in Rehoboth Beach, DE. I was there for a week's vacation, years ago. A hurricane weekend. I went to this bar for Happy Hour after the beach. That was on the daily route of fagotry in this very whitecollar gay resort town that draws from DC and Philly. I liked to do the revealing cockshow here. But it was not the easiest place to connect. One day I passed out napkins, and asked the goodlooking guys nearby to draw a dick. This was the result. The one in the middle is that guy's portrait of my cock & balls. Mark's drwg. on the left: he told me about every turn of line as he was drawing. And all about what he wanted in a man. |

Aries (Mars), God of War National Gallery, Washington, DC This pix is scanned (and retouched) from printing in the Washington Post. So colors & detail do not do the painting justice. No, I'm not advocating War, or Deity Worship. I was struck with what Aries' Soldiers are doing in this painting, under the watchful eye of their levitated leader. Now, this is a recruitment poster. |

Poseidon Fountain Washington, DC, at Independance Avenue and 1st. St., S.E. Fountain featuring Poseidon naked and his naked male attendants/slave boys. It is immediately in front of the main Library of Congress building, on that corner, just down the street from the Supreme court building. When living there, I enjoyed watching tourist's reactions when they discovered this fountain. I remember a group of young women, in early 20s, who walked up on this fountain one Summer day. They all stopped, and stared. Then one asked another if she could borrow her camera. They smiled and giggled as she snapped the pix. I wonder how many prints were made. In Greek legend, Podeidon was originally the holder of earth, and responsible for earthquakes. He became god of Fresh water, and Mariners, lord of the Sea. He had certain fertility attributes (!), and appeared in legends as having sex with men as well as women. Neptune was a Roman god, of Etruscan origin, separate and distinct from Poseidon. |
